Pastor Harry J. Pilson and the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Alexandria will host its 144th Church Anniversary Celebration, Sept. 10 – 11, 2011. The theme is “Using Every Opportunity for Service to Advance the Kingdom of God.”
On Saturday, Sept. 10 the celebration will kick off with a luncheon for First Lady Olivia Pilson. The luncheon will be held from noon – 3 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
The anniversary events will culminate on Sunday, Sept. 11, with celebration of the church anniversary at the 7:45 a.m. service and Pastor Pilson’s 40th ministerial anniversary at 11 a.m.
