Commercial Burglary, 416 S Washington St (Foxes Music Store), Aug 14, 02:10 a.m., responding to an activated alarm, an officer confronted a male, 37, of Falls Church, leaving the premises with a guitar and a recorder. The suspect was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Grand Larceny and held with no bond.
Larceny from Vehicle, 500 blk Greenwich St, Aug 15, 8:29 a.m., victim reported unknown suspect took a computer bag containing an Apple iPad 2 and a laptop from an unsecured vehicle. Owner advised car alarm sounded around 9:00 p.m. the previous evening.
Larceny, 100 Hillwood Ave (Hillwood Mart), Aug 15, 11:31 a.m., unknown male suspect pumped $62.88 worth of gas and drove off without paying. Suspect described as black male approximately 25 – 30 years of age, medium build with dread locks wearing a white t-shirt and gray sweat pants and driving a black SUV with DC tags.
