Constituents in the 11th U.S. Congressional District of eastern Fairfax County are invited to call in to a one-hour telephone town hall meeting with their congressman, Rep. Gerry Connolly, Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. Only residents of the congressional district may participate, and many will be allowed to ask questions directly of Connolly.
Persons can sign up to be invited on the call through Connolly’s website, and it is already set up for thousands to receive calls just before 8 p.m. to ask if they’d like to listen in. Anyone unable to ask their question during the one-hour conference can leave a voice mail to ask it. Connolly said he expects most questions to be about this week’s debt ceiling votes, and their impact on the economies of the region and the nation.
