F.C.’s ‘DMV Select’ to Reduce Hours

The Falls Church City “DMV Select” office is in the process of changing its existing operating hours of 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. to new reduced hours of 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. This upcoming change needs to approved by the Justice Department and the DMV before being implemented with more details coming soon, according to the Commissioner of the Revenue’s office at City Hall.

The reduced hours are a result of recent budget cuts and overall workload volume in the Commissioner’s Office. The Falls Church City “DMV Select” office finished the last fiscal year having completed over 21,000 transactions with the same size staff as when the office first opened over five years ago.
