F.C. Council Schedules Lengthy Closed Session on Water Litigation

The Falls Church City Council tonight set aside two hours for an extraordinary closed session, meeting with attorneys on the subject of “actual or probable litigation” pertaining to its water system. According to a notice, the closed session is “for consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff members or consultants pertaining to actual or probable litigation, and consultation with legal counsel regarding specific legal matters requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel (water litigation).”

Six other matters on the Council’s work session agenda tonight are scheduled to commence in public session beginning at 9:30 p.m.
