Model Railroad on Display at W&OD Open House

A model railroad will be on display at the Northern Virginia Model Railroaders Club on Saturday, July 16, from 1 – 5 p.m., located in the historic Vienna Depot of the former Washington & Old Dominion Railroad, 231 Dominion Road NE (at Ayr Hill Avenue), Vienna.

Admission is free, and donations will be accepted.

The layout depicts the Western North Carolina Railroad (now a portion of the Norfolk Southern) during the period of transition from steam to diesel. The open house also features Thomas the Tank Engine and some of his friends.
