Mason Senior Picked for West Point

DSCN2034Paul Bentson Weber, a senior at George Mason High School, has accepted an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point. He was nominated to the academy by Congressman Jim Moran. Pictured above, Colonel Ray McCann, U.S. Army’s Liaison Officer, presents the formal appointment to Weber at a school awards night on June 8. Weber has also played on the Mason varsity baseball team for three years, and recently received the coaches award, as well as being named First Team All-District outfielder and First Team Region B outfielder.
