3 New Eateries Race to Open in F.C.

Three new retail food outlets – Paisano’s Pizza, Sfizi Italian Foods and Famous Dave’s Barbecue – are all currently in the closing stages of preparations for opening to the public between the 200 and 800 blocks of W. Broad St. in downtown Falls Church.

Paisano’s, located in the 200 block, is slated to open the beginning of next week. It is one of 10 new locations for the regional chain which already operates seven locations, offering carryout pizza, wings, subs, burgers, sandwiches, salads and wraps.

The final inspection from the City of Falls Church is slated for today for the 800 W. Broad (Flower Building) location of Sfizi, which is relocating from Fairfax with a classic, boutique Italian food store. It could open as soon as 10 days from the final OK.

Famous Dave’s in the 300 block of W. Broad is now making visible design changes to its frontage as it awaits City approval for new signs.
