F.C. Council Gives Preliminary OK to Hilton Garden Inn As Old Issues Rise

Despite opposition by parents of students at the neighboring St. James Catholic School, the Falls Church City Council tonight approved for preliminary “first reading” approval special exception and zoning modifications required for construction of a new Hilton Garden Inn at 706 W. Broad St. by a unanimous 6-0 vote (Vice Mayor David Snyder absent).
