David Rockwell, husband of Falls Church Council member Johannah Barry, took a 50-foot fall while climbing Old Rag Mountain in Rappahannock County Sunday, suffering a series of lower back injuries requiring surgery today. City Manager Wyatt Shields notified the City Council of the development at its work session tonight, noting the absence of Ms. Barry was due to attending to her injured husband.
