_MG_7404Parade-goers braved sweltering heat to enjoy the 30th Annual City of Falls Church Memorial Day celebration. The community festival featured musical performances, the Don Beyer Fun Run, booths manned by area vendors, and plenty of fun activities for kids, not the mention the much-anticipated parade, led this year by grand marshal and former Recreation and Parks Director Howard Herman. Also part of the event was a ceremony to honor veterans and to remember those who have lost their lives while serving the nation. (Photos: Gary Mester)
