The girls varsity soccer team at George Mason High School defeated Clarke County High School yesterday to become the Bull Run District Champions.
The final score of the game was 2-1. Mason scored its two goals in the first half, with a scoreless Clarke County making a second-half goal to earn the Eagles’ sole point.
The Mustangs will take to the field again Monday for the Region B Quarter Final, to be held at 5 p.m. at home.
