Mary Ellen Henderson principal Ann McCarty has announced her resignation, effective the end of this school year, to assume “a position in a neighboring school division.”
McCarty met with her staff at the end of the day yesterday and soon thereafter notified parents and the MEHMS community at large of her decision in an email.
McCarty was named principal of Mary Ellen Henderson in 2006 after serving as assistant principal there and also at George Mason High School.
