Fairfax County Board Chair Sharon Bulova issued a statement yesterday hailing the “open and transparent process including significant public outreach and community involvement,” that led to Tuesday’s approval by the Board of Supervisors of a redistricting plan among the county’s nine magisterial districts. Bulova singled out the work of the Citizen Advisory Committee made up of 21 county residents which held seven meetings and a workshop.
