F.C. Deputy Chief to Anti-Crime Vs. Women Institute

Falls Church Deputy Police Chief Mary Gavin has been chosen as one of 30 law enforcement executives from across the U.S. to participate in the 14th National Law Enforcement Leadership Institute on Violence Against Women hosted by the International Association of Chiefs of Police. The goal of the Institute is to raise response to violence against women crimes higher on the law enforcement agenda.

Gavin and other participants will explore innovative approaches for investigating crimes of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking.
