Clare and Don’s Beach Shack is hosting “Hula for Help,” a fundraiser to benefit the Red Cross Japanese Tsunami Relief Fund. Participating teams will be challenged to keep at least one Hula Hoop spinning for ten hours.
The event was the idea of C&D’s employee Mai Yamada, whose family is from Japan. “Hula for Help” will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 17 and continue all day. Clare & Don’s Beach Shack, co-owned by the sister and brother team of Rebecca and David Tax, is located at 130 N. Washington Street in Falls Church.
