A Herndon man was killed in Falls Church Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident with a taxi, and Virginia State Police are looking for the cab’s passengers.

Police say Daniel Park, 23, of Herndon, was struck by a taxi driving westbound on I-66 near Route 7 at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning, when the driver of the car he was a passenger in pulled over to allow the victim to vomit on the road. He was struck and died on the scene.

Police say they located the cab driver Sunday afternoon and spoke with him, and the driver told police there were two passengers in the driver’s cab, who were picked up at Lucky Bar in Washington, D.C., near Dupont Circle, and driven to the Vienna Metro station. Police hope to speak with these passengers about the incident.

As of Monday morning, those passengers have not come forward, and no arrests have been made in the case.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Virginia State Police Fairfax Division at 703-803-0026.
