Mason Students Earn $1K for Chinese Immersion Program

Three George Mason High School students have been awarded $1,000 scholarships towards a four-week summer Chinese Immersion program this year at ChenKung University in Taiwan.

Three George Mason High School students have been awarded $1,000 scholarships towards a four-week summer Chinese Immersion program this year at ChenKung University in Taiwan.

The scholarships are jointly funded by the Taiwanese Department of Education and the Confucius Classrooms Network. Scholarship recipients are Brendan Fribley, Joseph Reich, and May Williamson. Their Chinese teacher is Tina Kao.
