New Farmers’ Market Chef Series Schedule Announced

With warmer weather right around the corner, area food aficionados are invited to the Falls Church Farmers’ Market for the 2011 Chef Series.

With warmer weather right around the corner, area food aficionados are invited to the Falls Church Farmers’ Market for the 2011 Chef Series.

The farmers’ market takes place at Cherry Hill Park on Saturday mornings, where locally produced foods and crafts are available for sale. With the Chef Series, market visitors will have the added bonus of being able to learn more about local restaurants and the foods they make.

The anticipated schedule is as follows: April 23, Willow Restaurant; May 21, Sinplicity Catering; June 11, Northside Social; July 9, MadFox Brewing Company; July 30, Rustico; Aug. 20, DC Central Kitchen Culinary Training Students; Sept. 10, Willow Restaurant; Oct. 1, 2941 Restaurant; Oct. 29, Liberty Tavern; and Nov. 19, Star Catering.
