Thane and Susan Young of Annapolis, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Linda Young, to Nathan Stevens Hamme. The couple got engaged Christmas morning.
Sarah Young is a graduate of George Mason High School, where the couple met. She is also a 2008 graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where she majored in political science and minored in women studies. She is currently employed by The Advocacy Group of Washington, D.C.
Nathan Stevens Hamme is the son of Falls Church residents Susanna and Joel Hamme, and a 2001 graduate of George Mason. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2005 where he dual majored in international relations and anthropology. He is currently employed by Mobile Posse, a technology start-up headquartered in McLean.
The couple plans an August wedding in Annapolis, Md. The wedding will be held on the campus of St. John’s University. The newly married Mr. and Mrs. Hamme will reside in their home on Capitol Hill after the wedding.
