Art League Gallery Show to Take Guests Away to Italy

The Fairfax Art League has announced the opening of its new January Fairfax Art Gallery Show. Ruth Bailey will be the featured artist, sharing her new “Take Me Away ~ Italy!” collection highlighted with recently created paintings with landscapes and natural settings from Italy. Other new pieces by members of the Fairfax Art League will also be on exhibit.

The Fairfax Art League has announced the opening of its new January Fairfax Art Gallery Show. Ruth Bailey will be the featured artist, sharing her new “Take Me Away ~ Italy!” collection highlighted with recently created paintings with landscapes and natural settings from Italy. Other new pieces by members of the Fairfax Art League will also be on exhibit.

This new art exhibition will open on Thursday, Jan. 6, and it will run through Wednesday, Feb. 2. This exhibit will be free to the public with a wine and cheese opening reception where you may personally meet the artist at the Fairfax Old Town Hall, in the second floor gallery, in the City of Fairfax on Thursday, Jan. 13, from 7 – 9 p.m.

Bailey’s new collection seeks to portray the beauty of the architecture, the landscape, the warmth and friendliness of the people as well as the magic that makes this place Bella Italia. Bailey fell in love with Italy while her husband was stationed in Naples, Italy.
