This Friday, Nov. 5 is this month’s FIRSTfriday of Falls Church, bringing perks from retail deals to art shows and more.

An art exhibit entitled, “Make Some Noise: Sounds and Sights from Malcolm X Park,” a photographic series conveying the beauty of the human spirit through the music, dance and art of the drum circle at Malcolm X Park in Washington, D.C. by Aubrey Gemignani will be on display at Art and Frame of Falls Church (111 Park Ave., Falls Church) from 6 – 8 p.m. The local business is also hosting an open studio night with Christine Miller, Bill Abel of Make Art Happen and Marina Troy.

Stacy’s Coffee Parlor (709 W. Broad St., Falls Church) will also have an art exhibit on display from 7 – 9 p.m.

Jazzercise (513 W. Broad St.,  #230, Falls Church) will host a special “We’re On the Move” class with oldies music to benefit Alzheimer’s Association of the National Capital Area. A $10 minimum donation is suggested. An ice cream social will follow.

Dogwood Tavern (132 W. Broad St., Falls Church) will host the official FIRSTfriday after party from 8 p.m. until last call, while Ireland’s Four Provinces (105 W. Broad St., Falls Church) across the street will feature live songs by a local Irish Balladeer.
