Mary Frances Zoll Hood, 83, Born 1/22/1927, a Falls Church resident for over fifty years, died at home on 27th September. Visitation will be at Murphy’s Funeral Home in the City of Falls Church on Saturday, October 2, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be conducted at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Church, Arlington, on Sunday, 3 October, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. The family will host a reception following the funeral service on Sunday at the residence. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.

The General & Special Elections will be held on November 2, 2010. On the ballot are three candidates running for the office of Member of United States House of Representatives for the 8th Congressional District (General Election). Also on the ballot are three proposed amendments to the Constitution of Virginia (Special Election). As is required by §24.2-416 of the Code of Virginia, registration books will close on October 12, 2010.
