If you haven’t noticed already, there’s been an uprising of street vendors and food trucks throughout the nation. And the D.C. area is no exception.
Practically every week another one pops- in fact, just last Wednesday, Flippin’ Pizza announced they were jumping into the food truck biz. While most have taken to Twitter to announce their ever-changing locations, it can still prove to be a hard time tracking down their elusive meals on wheels. Enter the Curbside Cookoff 2010! Huzzah! Today and tomorrow, all day long, 20 of the D.C.-area’s best vendors will converge upon CityCenterDC giving you a chance to taste all the best street food the District has to offer. The Fojol Bros., Curbside Cupcakes, BBQ Banditos, DC Slices, Red Hook Lobster Truck are just a fraction of the vendors who will be on hand. It’s going to be glorious! In addition to the choice eats, there will also be music, art and classes to check out too. Admission is free.
