Mary Wharton, President of the Rotary Club of Burke, spoke about the “Learn Grow” project at a recent Falls Church Rotary Club Meeting at the Harvest Moon Restaurant. The project helps people in developing countries learn about and grow the best local foods to match their nutritional needs. Mary described her experience implementing Learn Grown in the Solomon Islands, along with Rotarians from other states and from Australia.
