Eden Center’s Annual Moon Festival was held last Saturday at the Falls Church shopping center, complete with games, Eden Idol, the lighting of the lanterns, a lion dance and more.
Also special to the festival is the Miss Eden pageant, won this year by 20-year-old Suzanne Phan. She is a third-year biology major at George Mason University, the vice president of the Pre-Pharmacy Society and the liaison, co-performance chair and co-rush chair of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority at the college. Phan is a certified pharmacy technician working at CVS, and plans to attend pharmacy school and become a pharmacist.
