More than 100 pounds of drugs were collected at the Falls Church Fire Station on Saturday a part of the nationwide prescription drug “Take-Back” Day sponsored by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. City of F.C. Police PFC Amy Earley, ECT Carly Lumsden and a DEA agent were on hand to collect potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs for destruction. The purpose of this campaign is to prevent increased drug abuse and theft.
