Refresher Course Offered For Senior Drivers in F.C.

A refresher-driving course for licensed drivers aged 50 and older is being provided by the Falls Church Senior Center (223 Little Falls St., Falls Church) on Sept. 16 – 17 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. those days.

A refresher-driving course for licensed drivers aged 50 and older is being provided by the Falls Church Senior Center (223 Little Falls St., Falls Church) on Sept. 16 – 17 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. those days. This course will review the different processes of driving for the older driver. A certificate will be issued at completion of the two day course, which can be submitted to insurance companies. The state of Virgina mandates a discount in car insurance. Checks may be made payable to AARP.

Jack Nelson of AARP will serve as the instructor. Classes cost $12 for AARP members with a card and $14 for non-members. For more information, call the F.C. Senior Center at 703-248-5020.
