On Thursday, Sept. 16, Falls Church Cub Scout Pack 681 will hold its annual Back-to-Scouting Night. The evening will be filled with fun, games, crafts and a demonstration of the traditional Cub Scout Pinewood Derby Race.

Each year in September, the pack welcomes boys in grades 1 – 5, and their families to attend the event and register to join the Cub Scouting program.

“This meeting kicks-off our new Scouting year and gives potential Scouts and their families an opportunity to learn more about the outstanding Pack 681 Scouting Program.” said Cubmaster Marty Freeman.

Pack 681 Back-to-Scouting Night will be held at St. James School’s Heller Hall (830 W. Broad St., Falls Church) at 7 p.m. For more information, visit www.pack681.com.

Pack 681, sponsored by St. James Catholic School in Falls Church, provides opportunities for boys to participate in outdoor activities, community service projects, field trips, learning and earn character-building achievements and awards. It was chartered over 60 years ago and is a member of the National Capital Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
