F.C. Education Foundation Receives Anonymous Challenge Pledge

Businesses have a new incentive for participating in the Falls Church Education Foundation’s fifth annual Run for the Schools 5K race and 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk. The Foundation received an anonymous challenge pledge to help increase participation in the Sunday, September 12 event. For every runner, jogger or walker above 300, the number of participants last year, the donor will contribute $10.

Advance registration is available until Thursday, September 9 or at Road Runner Sports in Falls Church during packet pick up from 4 – 8 p.m. on Friday, September 10 or at the Taste of Falls Church from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 11. The fee for race day registration will increase to $35.
