DivaFit, a Northern Virginia pole fitness studio, is hosting the United States Pole Dance Federation 2010 East Coast Regional Competition at 3 p.m., Sunday, October 3 at the State Theatre in Falls Church. The event will showcase the strength and grace of pole dancing as 12 competitors from across the country perform 90 minute routines with mandatory trick elements and a 3-5 minute freestyle routine.

Established in 2006 by Lisa Pelko, DivaFit has studios in Ashburn, Chantilly, Herndon and now Falls Church. Its mission is to offer women of all ages and fitness levels a safe, non-intimidating environment to pursue a healthy lifestyle.The Falls Church studio is managed by Kathy Roppel and located at 157B Hillwood Avenue.
