Broad Street Canine Ambassador Extraordinaire, Top Dog of Frady Park, and honorary Mayor of Falls Church City died suddenly just days shy of his 10th birthday, leaving behind a host of folks with broken hearts. True to his name, Pal was a beautiful golden boy who greeted everyone with a smile on his face and a full-body tail wag. He loved all people, tolerated other dogs, and was best buds with Chris the Cat (recently featured in Critter Corner). Recently, Pal was an uninvited guest at the Arbor Day ceremony in Frady Park. A multiple-award winner in the annual Memorial Day Pet Owner Dress Up Contest, Pal’s passing so close to that holiday was particularly difficult for his family and friends. The Graigs were so fortunate to have had him as a member of their family for 10 years, but would have loved many more.
