Jody’s Jam of the Week: Washington, D.C. Summer Restaurant Week

Oh yes- I’ve been counting down the days to to this one. This Monday kicks off another Washington, D.C. Restaurant Week, allowing us to wine and dine like high rollers.

At least for a week, anyways. For those not hip to the deal, Restaurant Week is a bi-annual event when over 200 of the D.C.-area’s finest dining spots offer up three-course fixed-price meals for lunch and/or dinner for a special, non-wallet hemorraghing price. Lunch runs $20.10; dinner sets you back $35.10. Not bad. Not bad at all. This is the opportunity to hit up those spots you’e always wanted to try. Notable restaurants, and some of my personal faves, participating next week include The Palm, Bistros Bis, Bourbon Steak, Vidalia, Ris, Willow, Vermillion and F.C.’s own 2941, Argia’s and Open Kitchen. Check out the full list of over 200 at washington.org/restaurantwk and make sure you get your reservations in early, as the popular spots tend to fill up quick.
