Immunization Clinic Hours Extended

Falls Church City Hall announced the following this week: Parents are encouraged to review immunization requirements now and to visit their health care provider or a health department clinic before the last minute rush just before school begins. A certificate of immunization is required for children entering kindergarten, sixth grade, and new students transferring into schools in Virginia.

The Fairfax County Health Department will offer extended clinic hours for immunizations at the Springfield District Office only on Wednesday, August 11, 3:30-5:30 p.m.  In addition, extended hours for immunizations will be available at all five county district offices on Tuesday, August 24, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday, September 3, 7:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
