Republican Patrick Murray, the winner over Matthew Berry in the GOP primary in June to contest incumbent Rep. Jim Moran for Virginia’s 8^th District U.S. Congressional seat in November, announced Tuesday that he’s secured the endorsement of Berry. In a letter to Murray, Berry stated, “The stakes in this year’s election are enormous. We will either empower individuals to make important decisions about their own lives or we will continue to empower the federal government to make more of those decisions for us.”
