Local Girl Scout Troop Aids Active Military

Junior Girl Scout Troop 134, based at Haycock Elementary School (6616 Haycock Rd., Falls Church) and led by Christie Johnson, recently sent care packages to the military using profits from their Girl Scout cookie sale this year.

Junior Girl Scout Troop 134, based at Haycock Elementary School (6616 Haycock Rd., Falls Church) and led by Christie Johnson, recently sent care packages to the military using profits from their Girl Scout cookie sale this year. As part of the cookie sale, the troop sold 269 boxes of cookies for their Gift of Caring, which were then sent to members of the military serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
