F.C. Education Foundation Gears Up for 5th ‘Run for the Schools’

The Falls Church Education Foundation is encouraging local businesses to organize teams to participate in its 5th Annual “Run for the Schools” event September 12 at 8am.  Teams must register in advance and have at least four runners/walkers.

Registration fees are $30/runner or walker. The 5K race and one mile family fun run/walk will culminate with an awards ceremony and other family friendly activities. Registered participants will receive a race packet including a bib number and t-shirt, and they are eligible to win prizes, including prizes for the fastest and largest teams. To sign up, go to www.fcedf.org, click on activities tab and select Run for the Schools from drop down menu. The Falls Church Education Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization established to provide supplemental support for the Falls Church City Public Schools. For information about team participation or sponsorship, contact Donna Englander at (703) 538-3381.
