The new Broaddale Village Center location at 300 W. Broad downtown in the City of Falls Church of the popular Chipotle burrito restaurant chain had F.C. residents of all ages lined up down the block to feast on its menu this afternoon.
The new Broaddale Village Center location at 300 W. Broad downtown in the City of Falls Church of the popular Chipotle burrito restaurant chain had F.C. residents of all ages lined up down the block to feast on its menu this afternoon.
Citizens were motivated not only by the grand opening (technically tomorrow) and the tasty food, but by the fact that the local Chipotle franchise was donating 100% of its revenue from sales this evening to the City’s Recreation and Parks Department as part of an effort to allay the impact of budget cuts on programs such as its annual Halloween Party and Easter Egg Hunt. The benefit continues until 8 p.m. tonight, and on this special occasion $5 can buy a burrito (or burrito bowl, tacos or salad), chips and a soda.
