The George Mason High School boys soccer team topped Radford High School, 2-1, to win their second consecutive state championship Sunday morning.

Nick Smirniotopoulos got the ‘Stangs on the board first, while Andrew Arias scored the game winner for Mason in the 79th minute.

The boys squad became the third Mustang team in two days to win a state title, following up the Mason girls soccer and boys tennis teams championships yesterday.
