Sewer Rehab Work Continues in F.C.

The City of Falls Church’s sanitary sewer rehabilitation project continues this week on the following streets: today, Monday (June 14): 1000 block of Parker Street; Tuesday, 400 block of Lincoln Avenue, Wednesday, easements near 317, 315, 313 W. Columbia Street and 309 Little Falls St.; Thursday, 700 block of Lincoln Avenue.

The project  includes lining approximately 9,100 linear feet of sewer main with polyester resin on the following streets and is part of the Department of Environmental Services Public Utilities Division Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer System Improvement Plan.  This rehabilitation extends the life of the existing sewer mains and, by reducing the amount of inflow of storm water and ground water, is expected to reduce the treatment costs paid by the City.

For more information, contact the Public Utilities Division at 703-248-5070 (TTY 711).
