Pizzeria Orso, the eagerly anticipated pizza restaurant from 2941’s Edan and Thea MacQuaid, finally opened their doors in the City of Falls Church today

The restaurant, at 400 S. Maple Ave, opened for lunch at 11 a.m. today and was busy churning out neapolitan pies when the News-Press stopped by around 1 p.m. Don’t let the outside fool you, it’s a lot bigger than it appears.

When asked for pizza recommendations, we were told the Orso (ricotta, mozzarella, grana, fontina, pecorino, garlic, prosciutto) and Diavola (tomato, pepperoni, mozzarella) were two of the best.
