F.C. Council Adds Back Future Funding for Storm Water, Athletic Fields

At its work session tonight, the Falls Church City Council determined to add $750,000 a year back to the City’s storm water fund every year beginning in FY12, and $400,000 to a general Parks and Recreation capability to improve Frady Park and maybe build a small soccer field at Madison Park, also starting next year. The additions will be taken from $12,000,000 set aside for City Hall renovations. The plans now go to the Plannng Commission Monday night prior to final approval by the Council on May 24.
