Tysons’ Route 123-International Drive Intersection Remains Closed

Due to a water main rupture that occurred early this morning, the intersection of Route 123 (Chain Bridge Road) and International Drive in Tysons Corner will remain closed through this rush hour, according to Fairfax County officials. In addition, all lanes of Tysons Blvd. will close from Chain Bridge Road to Galleria Drive to help move traffic through the area, with all Galleria Drive traffic near Chain Bridge Road directed toward the Dulles Toll Road. Southbound Chain Bridge Road traffic turning onto Tysons Blvd. will be detoured to International Drive. Motorists are urged to avoid the area until the roads are opened later tonight.
