Arlington’s Toscana Grill Goes Vegan Every Weekend

Toscana Grill in Arlington announced that it will expand its vegan options, in addition to offering all-vegan menus every weekend in April.

The Arlington eatery is teaming up with D.C. animal rights and vegan awareness group Compassion Over Killing on three of the four weekends.

The restaurant will also be the feature of the month for April on Compassion Over Killing’s vegetarian dining website, www.vegDC.com.

“We’re teaming up with them to host events designed to encourage people to explore vegan cuisine – as a way to protect our health, the environment and animals,” said Erica Meier, executive director for Compassion Over Killing.

To kick off the month’s celebration, Toscana Grill will donate 10 percent of all sales to Compassion Over Killing on the weekend of April 3 – 4. More vegan-friendly events are listed on the restaurant’s website, www.toscanagrill.com.

Toscana Grill is located at 2300 N. Clarendon Blvd. in Arlington.
