Weather Service Reports All-Time Snowfall Record Achieved for D.C. Region

This afternoon, the National Weather Service announced that with 54.9 inches of snow received at the Reagan National Airport this winter, an all-time record was achieved, eclipsing the former mark of 54.4 inches set in 1899.
