F.C. Council Closed Session Tonight In Response to an Offer from Fairfax County

Without disclosing the nature of the offer, it was revealed today that the closed session scheduled for tonight prior to the City Council meeting was called in response to a settlement offer by Fairfax County in the on-going litigation between F.C. and the Fairfax Water System. No announcement is expected on the nature of the offer tonight, the News-Press learned, other than one which may indicate that the City Attorney has been tasked to negotiate the matter.
