Falls Church Check Cashing Store Held Up

Fairfax County Police are investigating a robbery that occurred around 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 24 at a check cashing store at 3823-B South George Mason Drive.

Two men entered the Alante Financial store; one produced a gun and demanded cash from the clerk. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken and the suspects fled. Police reported there were no injuries.

Suspects were described as black, wearing black winter coats and around 5 feet 8 inches tall. They appeared to be between 35 and 40 years old. One suspect weighed around 200 pounds, and wore a beige baseball hat. The other man wore a light colored cap.
