Open Kitchen Wins at ‘Taste of Falls Church’

The new Open Kitchen located in the Leesburg Pike building across from George Mason High School was the judges’ favorite and won first prize in Falls Church’s annual ‘Taste of Falls Church’ and Fall Festival today. F.C. Mayor Robin Gardner, one of the judges, made the announcement, and also reported that Cafe Nessma, another new establishment, came in second place.

In yet another surprise development, F.C. celebrity chef, Tennille Middleton, showed up to serve as a judge. Middleton is bring shown currently competiting on the Hell’s Kitchen reality TV show. Middleton took part in a blizzard of photo opportunities with local leaders and the competition’s winners.
