MCLEAN HIGH SCHOOL’S Varsity Field Hockey team started the season off with three wins, one scrimmage and two regular. Last Wednesday, Aug. 26, the Lady Highlanders played an aggressive, 5-0 game against Oakton High School, dominating play in their home opener. Goal scorers included Olivia Applewhite (2 goals), Becca Latimer, Jordan Walker and Leandi Venter. Captain Caitlin Baker had four assists.
