Larceny, Shoplifting, Giant Food, 1230 W Broad St., August 12, 3:06 p.m., police arrested a male, 47, of Washington, DC for Felony Shoplifting.

Drunkenness, 100 blk. Spring Ct., August 13, 7:53 p.m., police arrested a male, 31, of Falls Church, VA for DIP.

Burglary, Residential, 200 blk. Gibson St., August 13, 9:40 p.m., unknown person(s) entered an unoccupied residence and stole a Mac laptop valued at $2100.00, a yellow gold necklace valued at $60.00, a bottle of Diesel cologne valued at $60.00, and black/silver Movado watch valued at $2500.00.

Larceny, Shoplifting, 7Eleven, 201 S Washington St., August 13, 10:11 p.m., police arrested a male juvenile for Underage Possession of Alcohol.

Destruction of Property, Falls Church Presbyterian Church, 225 E Broad St., August 14, 10:37 a.m., unknown person(s) broke a door lock and tried to enter the establishment.

Larceny from Vehicle, 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., August 14, between 12:00 p.m. and 6:38 p.m., unknown person(s) smashed the front passenger’s side window of a vehicle.

Fraud, 400 blk. Hillwood Ave., August 15, 11:35 a.m., unknown person(s) placed a false ad on Craigslist for a property.

Larceny, Shoplifting, Virginia ABC Store, 167 Hillwood Ave., August 15, between 6:59 p.m. and 8:08 p.m., unknown person(s) entered the establishment and stole (2) sample bottles of alcohol.

Drug/Narcotic Violation, 500 blk. W Broad St., August 16, 2:06 a.m., police arrested a male, 24, of Silver Spring, MD for DWI and Possession of Cocaine.

Drunkenness, 6700 blk. Wilson Blvd., August 16, 10:03 p.m., police arrested a male, 57, of NO FIXED ADDRESS, for DIP.

Burglary, Commercial, Thomas Jefferson Day Care, 609 S Oak St., August 17, 1:54 a.m., unknown person(s) gained entry into the day care facility located on the property. Nothing appeared to be missing. Incident to the case, police found an educational trailer with a broken handle and unsecured located on the property as well.
